FAQs

Q

What do I do if I need to reschedule?

A

If you need to reschedule your session please contact us as soon as possible.  Sometimes life happens and that’s okay.  I would rather have you reschedule for a better day so that you can enjoy your session.

Q

What if the weather is bad on the day of my session?

A

If the weather is bad on the day of your session we can always reschedule for another day.

Q

What should I wear to my session?

A

First and foremost you want to wear something that is you!  Whether that is preppy, bohemian, edgy, classic etc, you need to feel and look like you at your session.

Colors

  • Black and white clothing does have a tendency to wash out your complexion in photos so I always suggest color.  Figure out what your favorite colors are to wear and go with that!  If you are having a session with multiple people try and stay in the same tonal range.  For example if blue is your favorite color then have everyone where something with cool tones, blue, gray, green etc. and then may add an accent color to bring everyone together.

Solid Colors vs. Patterns

  • Solid colors are great for portraits because then we are more focused on you and not what you are wearing.  Throwing in a fun pattern every once in a while too and be great to add some variety.
Q

How many outfits should I bring to my session?

A

Bring as much as you would like!  When you first arrive we will go over everything that you bring and figure out what will look best at what location.  Have a few favorites in mind so we can make sure to get those in.

Q

When can I see my images?

A

For Portrait Sessions your images will be ready to view 2 - 3 weeks after your session.

For Weddings your images will be ready to view 4 - 6 weeks after the wedding.

  • We will schedule a viewing / ordering appointment which will be held at the studio.  These typically take about 1 -2 hours.  Please make sure that all the decision makers are present.  We suggest if you have small children to arrange for a babysitter so that you will not be distracted.
Q

What if my pet isn't obedient? Will you still come and photograph them?

A

Of course I will!  It may take some extra patience and some more time, maybe even a good walk beforehand but we'll get there!
