Cincinnati Pet Photographer: Boogie Bones!

February 8, 2012

So I know that you all enjoyed looking at Boogie's spunky face in my last post but now its time to see what Boogie is promoting, Boogie Bones!  Not only are the homemade and come in a variety of flavors but they also come in such cute shapes!  Like I said before, my dog can't get enough, even when shooting these photos Shasta just would not leave me alone.  Check out Boogie Bones to get more information.  They are also now being sold at Market Side Mercantile in Northside at 4170 Hamilton Avenue.  I also hear that Barb and Boogie might be coming out with a new wheat, soy and corn free treat for those of you four legged friends with allergies :)

Shine a Light on Lung Cancer 2011

November 4, 2011

November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month so to start it off Cincinnati and Cities across the Country and the World participated in Shine a Light on Lung Cancer Vigils.  I was honored to be apart of the vigil again this year.  If you follow my site you know that Lung Cancer is something that has affected my family so for me getting the word out there is super important.  This year Fox 19 helped to get the word out there about the vigil by having Jackie, who is fighting Lung Cancer and Dr. Pinney, a Lung Cancer Researcher on to talk about the disease.  Click on Fox 19 to view the video.  Jackie, Dr. Pinney and some others, including my Dad also spoke at the vigil.  For more information on Lung Cancer check out my links page.  I want to also thank the Hope Warrior Sisters for putting the vigil together; you are an inspiration to me and others!  "No more excuses, No more Lung Cancer!"

So it seems like in Cincinnati we always get one last snow fall in March, I'm hoping the snow last night will be the last for this winter.  I'm so ready for spring!  Let's hope I didn't jinx it!  Here's a few images I took outside my house this morning.  Enjoy :)

Cincinnati Photographer: Charleston SC: Part 2

January 7, 2011

While visiting Charleston I couldn't get over how beautiful all the wrought iron fencing was.  Its everywhere! From gates, to grates, to window sills, I couldn't stop taking pictures of it! And so begins my obsession with wrought iron fences.  Enjoy!

(I'm obessed, you'll see more of that in my next post)  I would have loved to have stayed longer then we did so I can't wait to get back there!  Enjoy! :)

Cincinnati Photography: Christmas at Krohn Conservatory

December 13, 2010

So every year in December Tim's family gets together at Krohn Conservatory to meet up and look at all the beautiful decorations.  The poinsettia tree and the train are may favorites.  We showed up a little late so I didn't have much time to take photos but here's what I got!

The Open House went great today at Lakota Hills Animal Clinic!  Grrand was there with some of their lovable dogs that were up for adoption and the Scratching Post had some of their adorable Cats and kittens who were looking for great new homes!  The staff at Lakota Hills Animal Clinic are always amazing and it was a pleasure to be apart of their Open House!

Cincinnati Pet Photographer: Halloween 2010

November 12, 2010

Okay, so I know this is a little late but everyone keeps asking me to see photos of Shasta and Jake in their Halloween outfits. Shasta seems to care less about the outfit but Jake just looks irritated...lol.  I couldn't resist dressing them up!  Shasta was a shark and Jake was a crab.  Carving pumpkins was a lot of fun too so here is a photo of how they turned out.

Cincinnati Photographer: Shine a Light on Lung Cancer Vigil

November 5, 2010

The first annual Shine a Light on Lung Cancer vigil was a success!  We had around 65 people come out to the Blue Ash Towne Square to support those who have beat lung cancer, those who are still battling lung cancer and those who have lost the fight. By lighting glow sticks and candles, together we started the night by "shining our light" on Lung Cancer and coming together to start a movement to make Lung Cancer care and awareness a priority.   It was great to see everyone out there!  Now it's time to get involved!  Let's kick Lung Cancer in the butt and get the word out there!  Check out Shine a Light on Lung Cancer - Cincinnati on Facebook to see how to get involved.  If you would like to be on the mailing list email at shinealightcincy@gmail.com.  You can also check out my links page for some support sites for Lung Cancer.
