How long does the session last?
On average most sessions last about 1 to 2 hours but at times they can go longer. This especially happens with newborns since there will need to be breaks for feedings and pets in case we need to take them for a walk. It is very important to me that you don’t feel rushed but relaxed and comfortable. Children and pets especially need to have time to connect with me and the camera so that they can be themselves during the shoot.
What do I do if I need to reschedule?
If you need to reschedule your session please contact us as soon as possible. Sometimes life happens and that’s okay. I would rather have you reschedule for a better day so that you can enjoy your session.
When can I see my images?
Your images will be ready to view 2 - 3 weeks after your session. We will schedule a viewing / ordering appointment which will be held at the studio. These typically take about 1 -2 hours. Please make sure that all the decision makers are present. We suggest if you have small children to arrange for a babysitter so that you will not be distracted.
Can I purchase the digital rights to the images?
Yes you can! When you purchase the rights to the images all of your images from your session will be put onto a flash drive. All of those images will be color corrected and edited so that when you go to make prints you don't need to do anything extra to them. The reason we use a flash drive instead of a disc is because they are much more reliable and it makes it easier for you to be able to make backups of your files.
What if my pet isn't obedient? Will you still come and photograph them?
Of course I will! It may take some extra patience and some more time, maybe even a good walk beforehand but we'll get there!
